Turquoise and Silver Rosary
Let me tell you a bit about this Rosary.  The Silver-Plate Crucifix is approximately 4.5" in length and has a crystal over the head of Jesus.  It is a stunning crucifix.  The Center and Pater Beads (12mm) are silver-plate as well and slightly aged.  The Turquoise Magnesite Beads (10mm) appear crackled and aged and yet smooth.  The Rosary wire is wrapped around the ends of the beads, for extra strength.  The entire Rosary measures 34.5" in length.

  1. Hi Jan,

All I can say is there's a reason why I was drawn to your blog today (which is gorgeous!)! I've recently reconnected with Jesus and Mary and this Rosary reminds me of them in a very special way . . . and I love turquoise! Praying the Rosary brings much comfort and peace, although I've yet to 'connect' with a Rosary.

Thank you for sharing your special talents and whomever receives this will be very blessed!

  2. Hi Mrs. Jan.... I am friends with you on facebook too =) I actually have a story but I haven't told you yet. I was raised Catholic, and adored my parents faith, but when I married, I wasn't allowed by my ex-husband to practice my faith. Well... years later, and a few changes. I am FINALLY free to return to the faith of my parents and I am so thankful. So the other day, I was praying, and asked God to confirm it to me, somehow, that this was indeed the direction that He was calling me to. And the VERY next morning, I found your blog. The first post on your page was the beautiful rosary you were giving away to another lady. I was floored, that God would send me the confirmation I needed through my love of home decorating and blogs!!! I'm still going through some very tough stuff with my ex, he dominated every breath I took in marriage and is still dominating our babies... I'm scared of the outcome and the future, it feels like I'm up against a Goliath. But God keeps showing me through His word to trust Him. So even if I don't win this gorgeous Rosary, I would like to buy one from you, Yours are the most beautiful ones I've ever seen!!! Now that I am returning to my true faith, I need one.... =) Thank you for allowing me to spill...lol.

  5. I've only had BP for 4 weeks, starting to see signs of improvements. The school mascot is a pirate, so my family and friends have been having fun with my "pirate" face. I've also only been Catholic for the past 3 years. I was raised in another denomination, had no idea about Catholisism until I went through RCIA. As Breahn stated, it is beautiful, you do have a special skill and are a blessing to us BP folks with all your information and inspiration. Hope we all recover quickly.

  6. What a touching give-a-way....truly a gift from your heart! I'll be happy for anyone who would be gifted for your Rosary - honest! :). I'd love to have a rosary to hold as a token of my trust and faith. it's been a rough year for us...but one where faith has persevered. Our son has battled a brain mass this past year that we were told he probably wouldn't survive. He not only has survived, he's thriving. My mom has suffered with dementia and we finally had to make the move to place her in a facility...so hard to realize that "part" of my life is fading. her body is here...but her soul is "missing". So sad...but still, we trust. Our family has struggled but we've had more laughter than tears, more hugs than hurts. A beautiful Rosary would remind us of that.

  7. I have to say that this is one of the most beautiful rosaries that I have ever seen. Being a jewelry maker myself, I know how special this is, though I have not made a rosary yet for myself, you give me inspiration. It is hard to find the right crucifix. A crystal over the head of Christ (just warms my heart) and your Pater/decade beads are lovely. Oh, my! Everyone has his/her own crosses to carry and we are fortunate that God walks with us or carries us at the times we would otherwise give up. He has certainly helped me many times. I will keep your prayer list and this time prayers for your selection with me at Adoration, 10-11pm AK time, on Thursdays, always! I remembered the prayer list after I followed you and thank you for the request. I know that just the right person will be selected and hope that loving fingers will follow those beads many times. God Bless everyone. Hugs from Alaska. Karen

  8. I don't know what happened, Jan, but when I saw this beautiful rosary, my heart started beating so fast, and my eyes welled up in tears! I have a special devotion to Our Lady, and have clung to her promises of protection. My husband and I are having such financial problems and at our age, this should not be. I would cherish this beautiful rosary, have it blessed by my pastor, and continue on with my journey of faith, by reciting Her rosary and keeping you in prayer as I do now. Thank you for this giveaway, and for your wonderful talent in jewelry making and rosary making!

  10. I'm still visiting blogs from the GYB party. I think your blog is really fun and, this may sound strange, but a relaxing place to visit! I was raised Catholic but I'm not anymore, however the rosary is so lovely and I can tell it was made with special love for who ever receives it. I think it's a wonderful gift and I know you'll find the person you're looking for to receive it. Have a good week!
